but we do know that she fed them to her son, and often, even after he’d grown all up.

Now, we know we can’t trump moms—especially the King’s—but we can pay our proper respects Frankensteining her specialty by sandwiching crispy bacon strips and hand-mashed banana mousse between two thick slices of brioche French toast.

Sprinkle and drizzle on it some banana slices and some peanut butter maple syrup and you’ve got something tastes like a whole lot like the more wholesome parts of rock ’n’ roll.

And, if you’re in the mood, Put a Fried Bird On It, because, well, the King liked his fried chicken, too.
