New Chef, New Year

We are incredibly excited to welcome Executive Chef Roscoe Roberson to The OG family. Chef Roscoe was born in Tucson and lived on the East Coast so his culinary influences bring a fresh and experienced hand to the kitchen. He also, served as executive chef of Portland’s Chefstable Group.

After talking with Chef Roscoe it was easy to see why he joined the bustling kitchen at The OG. Roscoe’s culinary creativity, coupled with his experience in the city of Portland as well as his connections to his own family’s comfort food roots partners perfectly with the modern take on classics featured on the menu. He is a natural leader and brings a fantastic energy to the dining room.

The New Year also brings the Winter Season and we are adding new items like the IMPOSSIBLE BURGER to our already stellar lineup of burgers. The first Plant-based burger, the IMPOSSIBLE BURGER from Impossible Foods “is made from simple, all-natural ingredients such as wheat, coconut oil, and potatoes.” The secret ingredient, however, is an ingredient called heme. Heme creates the aroma, juiciness and “meaty” sizzle. We’re serving it in the form of a diner classic…The Patty Melt.
