ORIGINAL EVENTS: GET YOUR ADORA BELLA PORCELAIN CUPS HERE! Wednesday, March 21, 2012
Hey everybody. This is Michelle Kolososki. You might recognize her as the charming young lady who used to bring you breakfast. Sadly, for us (and for you), she’s leaving The Original to return to the Midwest (Michigan, in general, and the Motor City, in particular) to launch her new independent venture, Adora Bella.
See Michelle is a ceramist (she graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in fine arts, and then attended Louisiana State University to further advance her studies in the ceramics arts). That’s her (pictured) , hard at work, putting the finishing touches on a line of porcelain cups that she’s making especially for you.
Stop by The Original between 5 and 9pm on Thursday, March 29, and help us see her off. Those cups? They’ll be on sale for you to purchase, and once you do, you can immediately put them to use, because every cup you buy comes with a complimentary cocktail (our bartenders are dreaming up a couple of specialty drinks to pour in them, as we speak). Proceeds from the night’s sales will go directly to Adora Bella, helping Michelle purchase the equipment necessary to successfully launch it.
So swing by, enjoy some snacks, knock back a drink or two and take home with you the best kind of art: functional art.
Of course, join us, too, in wishing her well as she prepares to travel back to what she calls “the Magic Mitten.”
