ORIGINAL EVENTS: XMAS EVE, XMAS DAY AND NYE DINNERS Friday, December 14, 2012
Are the in-laws descending upon you this year? Don’t feel like cooking on Christmas Eve? Need a place to hang your hat on Christmas Day? Need some fuel to help you see your New Year’s Eve plans through?
Let us help, because we’ve got specials holiday dinners lined up for you and your family, whether you celebrate the holiday or not, and whether or not that family is made up of pretty much everybody or of far-flung “orphans” like yourself.
On Christmas Eve, choose your entrée: Seared Scallops (w/parsnip puree and trufles), Chocolate Braised Duck (w/red wine risotto and brandied cherries), Butter-Poached Sturgeon (w/spinach custard and caviar burre blanc) or Pan Roasted Ribeye (w/grilled lobster and truffle madiera).
Christmas Day Dinners Come “TV Dinner” style with either Ham or a Roasted Turkey Breast and a Confit’d Drumstick, each served with a Terrine of Stuffing, Maple-Glazed Yams with Smoked Marshmallow, a batch of Green Bean Casserole with “Funyon” rings, and, for dessert, a slice of homemade Pie.
And On New Year’s Eve: Third verse, same as the first (it’s a literal replication of the choices found on our Christmas Eve Dinner Menu).
And if all you really want for Christmas is to be alone with a cheeseburger and a pint of beer, we’ve got you covered there, too, as we’ll be offering a limited selection of items from our usual everyday menu.
To recap: on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we’ll be serving brunch from 8am-2pm, and our Holiday Dinners from 2-7pm.
On New Year’s Eve, we’ll be serving brunch from 8am-2pm, and our New Year’s Eve special dinner from 4-10pm. Plus we’ll be open late, till 2am.
Finally, on New Year’s Day, we’ll be serving brunch from 8am-2pm, and a limited items from our regular menu from 2-7pm.
