Like the Ramos, ours is comprised of gin, lemon juice and egg whites, which, give the cocktail its frothy feel.
But the original Ramos is white. Ours is purple. That’s because we splash it with some lavender bitters distilled by Seattle bitter experts, Scrappy’s, and dose it heavily with our black grape grape soda.
So, why velvet?
Because it’s velvety, of course! Like having liquid velvet in your mouth, but not in that creepy Dennis Hopper kind-of way.
